Sebastian Lasek arbeitet in seiner Funktion als Head of Vehicle&Systems in Autonomous Driving an dem Gesamtsystem für Mobility und Transport -as-a-Service, einem kommerziellen Service für Personen und Gütertransport. Zu den Bestandteilen des Systems zählen neben dem Fahrzeug selbst, ein AD System, sowie diverse Backends und Frontends, die das Gesamtangebot vor Kunde bilden. Eine Integrationsleistung zwischen Hardware und Software unter Berücksichtigung von TCO ist entscheidend für den Erfolg in dem Markt und Schöpfung der Skaleneffekte. Vor seinem Einstieg ins Autonome Fahren, war er im Volkswagen Konzern für die Marken Skoda Auto (Digitale Baureihe) und Volkswagen Passenger Cars (Connected Car) tätig, seine Erfahrung als IT Systemintegrator konnte er auch außerhalb Automotive Sektor bei T-Systems aufbauen.
